‘Hairiest man in Britain’ visits the British Hair Clinic for hair transplant

Renowned football presenter Richard Keys is the latest TV personality to turn to the celebrity famous British Hair Clinic to restore his receded hairline.

Richard Keys once a behemoth of British Sports broadcasting joked about the ‘irony of being the hairiest man in Britain who spent much of his life removing hair, am now at the British Hair Clinic having a hair transplant to put hairs into my hairline where I’ve lost it!’

When the hairline was drawn on, Richard was surprised how far back his hairline had actually receded. ‘I didn’t realise it had gone that far back but now looking at the pictures it’s clear it needs work done’.

Richard said he chose the British Hair Clinic in Essex after excellent recommendations from his colleague and former Liverpool star Jason MCateer who both now work at Qatari broadcasting giant BeIN Sports. ITV’s and TalkSport’s main commentator Sam Matterface urged Richard to choose the British Hair clinic and told Richard Keys ‘it was the best thing he’s ever done for himself’.

Celebrity surgeon Dr Shuja explained that ‘a hair transplant procedure at the British Hair Clinic takes between six to eight hours. The roots of hair are taken from the back of the head and transplanted to areas of thinning and balding. The surgery is a meticulous process requiring skill and precision. When done properly, hair transplants should last over ten years’.

At the end of the surgery, Richard was ‘delighted with how it went and was given an aftercare bag containing medications, oils, creams and shampoo to help with the recovery process’. It can take up to a year for the full results to show.

The transplanted hair and skin go through stages of growth, shedding and then permanent growth over the next twelve months. This summer also saw Liverpool superstar Moh Salah showing his recent hair transplant as he sports a new sharper trimmed look.

A number of actors, presenters and premier league football players have visited the British Hair Clinic in recent months. Last month former Lioness star and Stick to Football podcaster Jill Scott brought her brother to the British Hair Clinic for a similar procedure to Richard Keys.
