Jill Scott MBE visits brother Mark at the British Hair Clinic and shares how playing for the Lioness’ caused her own hair thinning
Jill Scott visited her brother Mark at the British Hair Clinic as he came to ‘freshen up his hairline in a bid to boost his confidence’. The former Lioness and Jungle Queen upheld her big sister duties as he took time out of her busy Euro’s 2024 schedule to visit brother Mark as he underwent a hairline transplant at the celebrity favourite British Hair Clinic in Essex.
Mark who said the ‘receding hairline was ‘ruined’ by the wind. Whenever it blew my hair would part and fly back so I have to grow it long and constantly style it forwards. It does affect a man’s confidence and I can’t wait to have it fixed’.
Jill joked as Mark had his hair trimmed and backed his brother now looks like a ‘proper scientist’ in reference to his work and that he can ‘pull of a skinhead look for a couple of months’. Hair is often trimmed to make it easier for the surgeon and his team to complete the hair transplant surgery.
The former Lioness’ star mentioned how so many faces she recognised had been to the British Hair Clinic, including her former I’m a Celebrity colleague Owen Warner who is a regular visitor at the clinic.
She went on to add how years of having to tie her hair back with the England women’s football team meant her hairline had receded and she would love to would actress Stephanie Davis done and have a new hairline like her.
Jill pointed to her hairline being receded and said ‘she’d love to back at the British Hair Clinic and have her hairline looking like Stehpanie’s’. Years of tying it back as a pro footballer left her roots weak in the corners of her hairline giving a receded look. ‘I’m glad we can do this in the UK with top clinics and surgeons here, without having to travel abroad and all the horror stories you hear from there’.
